Missouri Basketball: Kim English enjoying career year for Mizzou

Kim English had a terrible 2010-11 season, by all accounts. He only averaged 10 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting a disappointing 36.6 percent from the floor. That’s not what the Missouri Tigers were expecting from one of the team leaders and it ended up making the season a disappointing one.

But this year, English looks rejuvenated. He’s playing the best basketball of his life, averaging 18.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game while making an outstanding 60.7 percent of his shots.

A lot of English’s success can be traced back to Mizzou’s offseason coaching change. Former coach Mike Anderson left the Tigers to be the head coach of Arkansas and Missouri hired Frank Haith to replace him. Read more of this post
